I led creative concepting and narrative design for this MTG set released on June 2022 in both tabletop and digital format— I created hundreds of cards with distinct original content. I innovated hundreds of characters and locations, created distinct visual and narrative styles for varied species, organizations, spiritualities, and more, and worked with pre-existing content from Wizards of the Coast properties to create a lived-in and diverse setting. One primary focus of my creative work on Baldur’s Gate was to give heroic agency and power to peoples and species historically misrepresented and marginalized by traditional fantasy, including earlier MTG and D&D releases.
