I contributed hundreds of creative concepts to this highly successful MTG set which released in tabletop and digital formats in June 2023. My main contribution to this contemporary re-imagining of the Lord of the Rings was to consistently push for a diverse Middle-Earth setting that stayed true to the Tolkien text. I also guided continuity and lore checks, focused on character and society details, and applied primary source material to our work. Individual copies of cards that I provided creative concepts for have been valued at thousands to millions of $USD. My creative work directly contributed to high critical acclaim, significant press coverage, and the best-selling Magic: The Gathering set of all time.
